I am so glad I bought this set. They are the best. Easy to handle, heat up very nicely. Just make sure you have Bar Keepers Friend to clean them with. That will keep the set looking like new.

Only a couple of weeks of ownership, but very nice so far; even with the learning-curve transition to stainless steel. Just cook with a little less heat and a little more oil, as is suggested in the literature that packs with the set. Product itself is sturdy and well-built; though the metal on the lids is a bit thin. Ours actually was bent in places upon arrival; though nothing we couldn't bend back into position. Overall, a comparatively good set of cookware in the price category.

I have studied and looked at many products for good cookware. And the best that I found was out of what I could afford, at the monment. However,I looked at Emeril Pro-Clad series cookware, and found a suitable replacement. The cookware cooks and performs well. Made by what I consider the best cookware company out there, All-Clad;the Emeril Pro-Clad series works well. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt it necessary to get the word out for seekers wanting great quality cookware for less. I give it four stars because of the limitation of tempature, that the lids can handle,in the oven, if you choose to finish off a meal in the oven. The amount of extras that are avalible at this time, if I wanted to expand the set. I plan to buy all that's avaliale in Pro-Clad series style. Do read the instructions on how to use the product. Treat them like high quality cookware and it should last a very long time.
"I LOVE these pots and pans!" 2010-05-04

It was a joy cooking my first meal in these pots and pans! I made sauce and pasta to break them in. I followed the directions and kept the heat on low the entire time. My sauce simmered until perfectly cooked. I didn't have to worry about watching my sauce like a hawk since the pan kept the heat even and steady.
I also cooked egg white omlettes which used to stick to my previous pans (which were teflon coated by the way!). The egg whites didn't stick! In fact, nothing has been sticking! I just followed the directions that came with the box and everything turns out great.
They are gorgeous too! When I took them out of the box I swooned with joy! I still look at them with admiration. So shiny and beautiful!
The best investment I EVER made. BTW Bed Bath and Beyond sells this same item for $199.00 so if you have one nearby it's worth the trip to save on shipping. I had a coupon for 20% off so it made the deal THAT much sweeter!
"Great cookware, but you need to know what you're doing" 2010-05-02

I'll start this review by saying that I'm not a great cook, in fact I'm really just a hack in the kitchen learning to cook better. I bought this set to replace a set of Cuisinart Chef Classic anodized aluminum non-stick cookware that served us well for many years, but had started to show a lot of wear.
I've had this set for about a month. At first, I was disappointed. Food stuck badly, and I went through a LOT of Bar Keeper's Friend trying to keep these pans clean. I read the instructions, particularly the part where it recommends cooking at lower temps, but it took me a while to understand what that really meant. I was having problems with food sticking (potatoes were a mess for me) and even scorched vegetable oil. I cook on a gas range, and I previously had my burners at about 60-70%. Now, I cook at around 40%, which is a massive improvement. No more sticking food, scorched on oil, and clean up is lot easier.
I still wash by hand, and I don't have a problem with that. While these are dishwasher safe, only hand-washing can insure they get properly cleaned. So, if you're tempted to go back to non-stick, lower the temp and keep trying, it is worth the effort.
