I wasn't thrilled with this purchase. The box it came in was HUGE because the knife packaging is so long, too long. It was my first "really good knife" purchase. I thought it would be a little lighter, and even sharper. Then again I wasn't aware that those "really, really, really good knives" are super expensive. So, I guess I got what I paid for. Perhaps you're paying a little more for this just for the Emeril label.

This knife is not my favorite. As a former culinary professional I prefer a knife with more weight and a heavier blade. I use it more as a utility knife than a chefs knife. It does keep a sharp edge and is easy to keep clean. Probably a good choice if you have small hands or like a small, light knife.

I've been looking for a dishwasher-safe tomato knife that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This was exactly what I was looking for. I don't consider the blade to be too flexible, as has been cited by other reviewers. If you want something more substantial you could go with the Wusthoff Grand Prix Tomato Knife for $80. I've never been able to find that for less than $45 - even on eBay. The price is right for this brunch knife and it does a very good job.

We have tried many different non-stick brands of cookware over the years, but the Emerilware hard anodized products are our favorites. They cook evenly and clean up is a breeze. Make sure you don't spray non-stick spray to the pan, as it will build up on the pan and damage it. Best to heat a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan if you feel you have to have something.

This pan looks and feels beautiful when new, but its surface went bad long before other brands of similar non-stick surfaces that I own. I paid a lot for it, thinking it would be better than others, not worse. Incredibly, it's to the point where I can't even float an egg in oil in it and cook it without it sticking like it's welded to the pan. How does this happen? (I've only used plastic spatulas on it.) I've had it up to here with this designer-name piece of cookware, and a few minutes ago I finally just tossed it in the trash and came on here to report this poor performance. Your mileage may vary, but that was my experience.

I received the Emeril Non-stick Fry Pan as a gift. It became very sticky on my second month of usage. I sendEmerilware Hard Anodized 5-Quart Non-Stick Saute Pan with Glass Lidthe pan later to Emeril since it offersEmeril Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set a lifetime warranty. Emeril refused to replace it and said that it was overheated. On the instruction, Emeril states that you can use low to medium high heat and high heat only for boiling or reducing liquid which is exactly what I did on a normal cooktop. I am very disappointed at Emeril's misled instructions and so called lifetime warranty and hope that other consumers will not be trapped.

I bought this pan because for some odd reason, it seems next to impossible to find a large frying pan with a lid. This one has much higher sides than a normal frying pan, but works just the same. The higher sides cut down on spills while you cook, which makes me really happy.

The nonstick finish is great. The handle is great, and again, I LOVE the glass lid. The size is fantastic, tons of room and easy to stir saucy foods without it splashing up over the sides.

The only potential drawback that I can think of is the weight of the pan itself. It may just be a personal preference, but I like a nice heavy pan. This one was suprisingly light. Does not seem to affect performance in any way. All in all, I am really happy I ordered this pan!

The pan is excellent. I have owned circulon for over 15 years and this is the first emeril pan. Very impressed! I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that the lid handle gets very hot and you have to use a pot holder to remove it.

These knives may be sharp and the block is nice; however, they tend to rust really easily. I wouldn't trust others with handling these knives unless they plan on washing and drying them soon after use. Also, most of the knives are serrated. I would have preferred at least another chopping blade. The steak knives make up the majority of the price, which is disappointing. I bought these knives at the regular price, which I would not recommend, but buying them on sale may make the purchase feel a lot better.
