I've got several editions of these nonstick pans. I've had an 8" and 10" for about 2 years that I use a lot. They work quite well and I am careful never to use metal utensils with them. I just bought this 8" and 12" package deal and there has been a change in the handle design for the worse--it is thin and uncomfortable in the hand--which is kind of a drag, particularly when you're handling a 12" pan. I suspect it was a money issue because the new handle seems cheaper. Nonstick pans are only meant to last 2-5 years anyhow, so I am not too upset, but will probably buy a different brand next time.

If you're considered buying a non-stick pan for your scramble eggs or egg-of-evens, recondsider other products or brand names. This set does not work that well as expected.
Because this set was sold in Macys and due to the same manufacturer, the well-known All-Clad, I bought it rather than other brands with simailar price.
I noticed that I was only making for the 3rd scramble eggs meal, the 8-inch pan starts to have the feel of "stick on the bottom". Not very serious, but it was way too soon/early to have this feel compared to other Emeril non-stick pan I bought years ago and to the much cheaper price and unknown brands sold in Mervyns.
Not only did I noticed this situation but also my housemate, who told me the same thing when trying to make the 4th scramble eggs meal by this pan.
We haven't tried the 10-inch pan yet but don't expect it will perform very well, and don't expect it will go very long.

We've had our pans for two years now, have made little effort to take special care of them, use them often, and find that they're still in new condition. I generally expect nonstick pans to last a year and to have done their duty by then, so these have far exceeded my (perhaps low) expectations.
I'd buy them again.

Emeril Hard Anodized Nonstick 8-Inch and 12-Inch Fry Pan Set
If you want a non-stick fry pan that lasts, from a company that stands behind their LIFETIME non-stick guarantee, you don't want this pan or anything from Emeril. I had the Emeril 12" nonstick fry pan for about 2 years. I followed ALL of the care instructions to the letter, but it became a gummy mess that everything stuck to. I returned it for a new pan under their lifetime guarantee, and was surprised when they returned my old pan suggesting that I hadn't followed their care instructions. I even called a manager to no avail. This pan was babied. If you get anything non-stick, get a Calphalon. I also had an 8-year old Calphalon non-stick fry pan that I returned at the same time as the Emeril. Calphalon sent me a new pan with a sample of their suggested cleaning product. The Calphalon lasted four times as long as the Emeril, and Calphalon stood behind their lifetime warranty. I threw the Emeril in the trash and went out and bought another Calphalon.
